MD Forte, Your Personal Skin Care Regimen

The M.D. Forte skin care system provides a personalized skin care regimen for healthier, younger-looking skin. Some products with high levels of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) produce too much irritation, while others may be too weak to make a real difference in how your skin looks and feels. Compared to other reginmens, MD Forte skin care products deliver beautiful results without irritation through an advanced formulation of glycolic acid, a type of AHA.

Step 1) Cleanse - Gentle yet effective cleansers wash away oil, makeup, and surface debris without drying skin. All cleansers are free of soap and fragrance.

Step 2) Renew - Creams and lotions are calibrated to renew damaged and dull-looking skin. They visibly diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while improving tone, softness, and smoothness, a crucial step in achieving younger-looking skin.

Step 3) Hydrate - Every skin type needs moisture. Select from creams and gels that quench your skin's thirst for moisture.

Step 4) Protect - Protection against premature skin aging with UVA/UVB protection.

Choose an M.D. Forte Product in Each of the 4 Skin Care Steps

  • M.D. Forte products are available for dry, normal, and oily skin types.
  • Some people are sensitive to glycolic acid, so products are available with or without glycolic acid
  • Start with level I products, then progress after 4 to 6 months to level II, and ultimately to level III

Step 1: Cleanse

  • With glycolic compound: Gentle, creamy cleansers remove daily residue, makeup, and oil without harshness or dehydration to reveal softer, smoother skin. Start with level I for 4 to 6 months, then progress to level II, and finally to level III for the most advanced correction.

  • Without glycolic compound: Glycolic-free, soap-free foaming cleanser removes dirt, oil, and cosmetics without irritation. Suitable for all skin types; especially suitable for those who are using alpha-hydroxy acid products and desire a nonglycolic cleanser.

Step 2: Renew

  • Facial Cream:
    • Creams are thicker than lotions and are appropriate for individuals with dry skin or with normal skin as a nighttime moisturizer.
    • MD Forte Facial Cream I - 15% Glycolic compound
    • MD Forte Facial Cream II - 20% Glycolic compound
    • MD Forte Facial Cream III - 30% Glycolic compound [Ideal for extremely rough, dry skin as recommended by skincare professional]
  • Facial Lotion
    • Lotions are lighter weight than creams and are appropriate for individuals with dry skin who feel the cream is too thick for daytime use and for normal skin day or night.
  • Skin Rejuvenation Products:
    • MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion I - 5% glycolic compound; 5% Lactic compound.
      • Appropriate when beginning on an alpha-hydroxy acid regimen and/or for sensitive skin to improve dull, lifeless complexions. Contains vitamin A for healthier-looking skin and vitamin E, an antioxidant, to protect against future skin damage.
    • MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion II - 20% Glycolic compound
      • A higher strength for advanced correction; ideal for pre-laser and post-laser care (under physician's direction), spot treatments, or smile and worry lines. Contains vitamin A and vitamin E.
    • MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion III - 30% Glycolic compound
      • Provides the power of retinol plus the highest levels of alpha-hydroxy acid for advanced correction of extremely dry and/or environmentally damaged skin. Ideal for pre and post-procedure application. Contains vitamin A and E.
    • MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Eye Cream - 10% Glycolic compound
      • Enriched with retinol (pure vitamin A) to visibly diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness while hydrating, firming, and soothing skin. Also provides the antioxidant power of vitamin E. Ideal for contact lens wearers.
    • MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Hydra-Masque - 10% Glycolic compound
      • Contains 1% salicylic acid to help clear up problem-prone skin while exfoliating surface skin cells, Instantly smoothes, refines, and hydrates skin. Contains vitamin A for healthier-looking skin and the antioxidant vitamin E to protect against future skin damage. Use twice weekly or as needed. May be left on skin overnight for intense hydration.

Step 3: Hydrate

  • Formulation provides gentle moisturization for vulnerable skin. Ideal when extra gentleness and skin hydration are desired. Unique anti-irritant complex provides anti-inflammatory properties to calm and soothe vulnerable skin. Particularly appropriate for those who have had dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, or chemical peels. Also idea if you are on retinoid or other acne therapies, or using an alpha-hydroxy acid product and desire a nonglycolic moisturizer.
    • MD Forte Advanced Hydrating Complex Cream (Glycolic-free)
      • Product absorbs immediately into skin, restoring moisture for softer, more supple skin. Ideal for cold/dry climates.
    • MD Forte Advanced Hydrating Complex Gel (Glycolic-free)
      • Lightweight fluid product is immediately absorbed to restore vital moisture, leaving skin hydrated, softer, and more supple. May also be used after glycolic acid peels as directed by a physician.

Step 4: Protect

  • Sun Protection:
    • Two products with sun protection to wear daily over moisturizer. Protects skin from sun damage, while softening and healing damaged skin.
    • MD Forte Total Daily Protector SPF 15 (Glycolic-free)

      • Daily use for moderate protection for face, neck, chest, and hands against UVA/UVB exposure. Transparent zinc oxide provides broad-spectrum protection; allantoin, a skin softener, heals and soothes chafed, wind-burned skin; and vitamin E provides antioxidant defense against future sun damage.

    • MD Forte Aftercare Environmental Protection Cream SPF 30 (Glycolic-free)

      • Provides transparent zinc oxide higher levels of broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, allantoin, antioxidant defense, all in one product. Ideal for use following glycolic acid peels and laser procedures as directed by a physician

Oily Skin: Glycare Products

  • MD Forte Glycare Cleansing Gel - 15% Glycolic compound
    • Cleanses and clarifies oily skin without stripping away essential elements important to your skin's natural resilience.
  • MD Forte Glycare I and II
    • Glycare I and II are lightweight products intended for extremely oily skin. Both strengths exfoliate surface skin cells to smooth and refine skin.
    • Glycare I - 15% Glycolic compound
    • Glycare II - 20% Glycolic compound
    • Glycare Perfection Gel - 5% Glycolic Compound

      • Contains 1% salicylic acid to help clear up acne blemishes and occasional breakouts while exfoliating surface skin cells.

Special Care Product:

  • MD Forte Hand and body cream (20% Glycolic compound)

    • Hydrating cream for the entire body. Ideal as a nail and pedicure treatment. Eliminates rough, calloused areas on heels and feet. Helps soften cuticles while preventing brittle nails from splitting.
